Hi! I'm Preeti (Dutt Preety) from New Delhi, India. 

I love art & craft. I have an eclectic style of crafting.

I love making grungy, vintage as well as clean & simple mixed media pieces. 

Playing with colours is my happy place. I enjoy making cards, layouts, tags, canvases and art journalling.

Post 521: CAS Card- Glimmer of Light (Inspiration for Craft Stamper Magazine's Take It Make It Challenge- February, 2019)

Hope you are well.

Craft Stamper Magazine's Take It Make It Challenge for February is live. It is an "Anything Stamping Goes" challenge with beautiful prizes on offer and you could win the chance to Guest Design & be published in the magazine, so please read the rules and do link up your gorgeous creations :) To visit the Craft Stamper blog, please click HERE. 

For the inspiration, I've created a Clean & Simple (CAS) Card. I wanted it to have a positive message. I die cut Canson Watercolor paper using Winnie & Walter's Essentials: Audrey Cutaways to create the panel then created a loose watercolor background using Lindy's Gang Magical Shakers- Guten Tag Teal, Time Travel Teal & Bavarian Blue. I diluted the colors a lot to get a soft look. Once the background was dry, I die cut the dove using Paper Smooches Dove die and black cardstock & adhered it using Tombow multi glue. The sentiment was stamped using Visible Image Stamp- Glimmer of Light and Versafine Onyx Black Ink. Finally, the panel was foam mounted on an A2 sized white card base.

Lindy's Gang February 2019 Challenge

Color Guidelines: Aqua - Jade - Lilac

To enter the Color Challenge you MUST use at least 2 colors from the monthly color palette and as always you may also use black, white, neutrals or metallic colors as well! We are finding that there are so many amazing artists who are joining our challenge, that we can’t keep up with choosing winners! So, we’ll still have 5 winners of $50 gift certificates to Lindy’s, (sometimes more if we get tons of participants), and of those, 3 projects will be picked by Lindy’s for style, linking, etc, (the details are below) and 2 will be randomly drawn. Hopefully more people are encouraged to enter and we’ll get even more gorgeous projects! We just love sharing the Lindy love & thought this would be a great way to do it without anyone feeling intimidated.

For the challenge inspiration, I've created a Floral Mixed Media Card.
