Post 336: Floral Thanks Card

Hi folks!

I'd like to share a Floral Thanks Card. I stamped the floral image on the A2 sized card front and then with the help of a stamp repositioner stamped the same image onto the rectangle die cut of watercolor paper. Then did watercoloring using zig markers and a water brush. Stamped the sentiment and then foam mounted the rectangle die cut on the card base.

List of Supplies:

Stamplorations Blossom Sprays 2 Stamp- Dee's Artsy Impressions
Happy Little Stampers Stamp- Doodled Flowers
Gina Marie Stitched Rectangle Die
Canson Watercolor Paper
Versafine Onyx Black Mini Inkpad
White Cardstock
Zig Clean Color Real Brush Markers
Water Brush
3d Foam Tape

Here are a couple of photos of the card:

Post 317: Artist Trading Card (Travel)

Hi friends :)

I'd like to share a simple ATC/Artist Trading Card I made recently. This was part of a set. I made these for a Guest Design post for Madras Bazaar. All the details can be found here.

Artist Trading Cards or ATCs are miniature pieces of art. These are 2.5 by 3.5 inches in size and they are swapped between artists & crafters. These can be created in a set around a certain theme. For example, in the set of ATCs I have made, there are 3 in it and they are all made using the same colors and style. I wanted these to be simple, flat & easy to re-create.

Supplies used:
Happy Little Stampers Stamp- Especially For You
Tim Holtz Dot Fade Stencil
Zig Clean Color Real brush Markers
White acrylic paint
Tim Holtz Chit-Chat Stickers
Madras Bazaar Pearl Ink Sprays- Vibrant Green, Charcoal Black and Shock Blue
Ranger's Archival Inkpad- Jet Black

Here is a photo of the ATC:

Post 201: Mixed Media ATC (flowers)

Hi Friends :)

Here is wishing you a happy monday and a great week ahead.

I'd like to share a set of 2 mixed media ATCs (artist trading cards) on the theme of flowers.
These are 2.5 by 3.5 inches in size and a great way to make some small sized art.
I did watercoloring of the stamped images using zigs and an aqua brush . Added some light stenciling in the background with distress oxides. For added interest, did some doodling with a pen. I wanted the colors to be bright, happy and with a summer feel.

List of Supplies:

Happy Little Stampers stamp- Doodled Flowers
Happy Little Stampers stamp- Especially for you
Artplorations Stencil- Bloom Boldly
Artplorations Stencil- Retro Circles
Versafine Onyx Black Mini Inkpad
Canson watercolor paper

Post 189- CAS card: For you

Hi Friends :)

How are you doing ? The weekend is here and I have a Clean and Simple Card to share with you today. This is a top folding A2 sized card. I used the ink smooshing technique to color the butterfly and the leaves, to control the dispersion of color I used an acrylic block and zig markers to smoosh the colors instead of a piece of acetate. Stamped the leaves and flowers in grey ink and then fussy cut the butterfly and adhered it to the card panel. Also did ink smooshing with the lightest of yellow on the watercolor paper panel. Finished off with some splatters of ink and a few silver sequins.

List of Supplies:

Happy Little Stampers Stamp- Especially for you (butterfly)
Happy Little Stampers Stamp-Doodled Flowers (sentiment)
Winnie & Walter Stamp- In Bloom: Lola's Bouquet with Joni Andaya (leaves & flowers)
Cutplorations Crazy Double Running Stitch Rectangle Die
Ranger's Archival Ink- Shadow Grey and Jet Black
Zig Clean Color Real Brush Pens
Silver sequins
Tombow Mono Multi Glue
Canson Watercolor Paper
Blue Cardstock 250 gsm

Post 185 - CAS card: Sending Hugs

Hi folks!

I'd like to share a Clean and Simple card today. This is a 5 by 7 inch card. I used the Ink Smooshing Technique on this using distress oxides and dye inks. I usually mix and match the inks I have to get the colors I need. I must say I love the organic and artsy look it gives. Stamped the flower image and sentiment in dark blue ink. The card base is navy blue and I finished it off with a few enamel dots.

List of Supplies:
