Hey peeps!
So today I tried my hand at a clean and simple card inspired by the colors of the rainbow. It is a celebration of friendship, learning and new beginnings!
I have tried to keep this card as minimalistic as possible.
I have made this card for a friend and mentor whose blog posts I love reading. Dr. Sonia She is a doctor and a highly gifted crafter who has been crafting for many years. She writes wonderfully detailed posts on all kinds of crafty topics and in my short time in the blog world I have learnt a lot from her. It is truly inspiring for me to see someone so accomplished!
I have used the Papericious "often" stack which had this beautiful multi-colored chevron lines paper which is the focal image on the card. It signifies the colors of the rainbow. I used the Gina Marie Designs X stitched rectangle die to cut the chevron paper. The "Hi" was also part of the stack, so I used a Gina Marie Designs Scalloped and stitched circles die to cut out the Hi. I used an iris white cardstock as the mat since the chevron paper was already quite bright and busy. The card base is another muted neutral color of kraft paper because I wanted the colors of the rainbow and the gorgeous chevron lines to be the focus. I adhered the Hi to the cardbase with a yellow paper clip to add some interest and the neon colored gems were added to make the card pop.
Thanks for your time!
Stay Blessed!
