Hi folks!!
I am new to floral cards so the other day, I decided to get a few never-before-used-supplies out and play around with them :) among them was the Altenew Hennah elements stamp set so I decided to get inky and made a floral valentine's cas card. The colors I chose are inspired from the altenew february challenge moodboard (I am playing along with the challenge). I thought the pinks were perfect for a love themed card :)
I used my small little basic 12 pack of zig clean color real brush pens for the coloring along with the 6 pack of camlin brush pens and the sakura koi water brush pen. The zigs were bought to test out the product, to see if I like it and I must say its a superb product, if you are into coloring. I will definitely get a bigger pack (at some stage) to make shading easier. The sentiment was from the altenew fresh freesia stamp set and all the stamping was done using ranger's archival jet black ink. I used 3 adjoining colors from the color wheel for the flowers (red, pink and purple) and 3 adjoining colors from the color wheel for the leaves (yellow, light green and dark green). A couple of flowers and 1 leaf are popped up with foam (they were fussy cut and added) and the rest are stamped and colored on the panel. The panel is die cut using the stitched rectangle die by Gina Marie Designs. The card is standard A2 in size made using 250 gsm iris cardstock. I allowed for a lot of white space around the design to make it a CAS card :)
Here are a few pictures of the card:-
