Marbling Card 3

Hi Friends

I love making cards and over the past few days I have been enjoying playing with supplies and making cards :) Also, before I go on let me tell you that I am having a crafty giveaway which is open to anyone (international folks are most welcome) you can find all the details here -- I'd be super thrilled if you play along :) the prize will be a 25 USD gift certificate to any store you like.

Now onto the card, this is an A2 size landscape style top folding card.

I have used the nail polish marbling technique here with light bluish-green shade metallic nail polish and some drops of brown metallic nail polish and then die cut the marbled paper with the Gina Marie x stitched rectangles die. This marbled panel was adhered to the card base in a titled way to add interest. The sentiments are stamped from the W & W - Wishing You with Evelin T Designs Stamp set. For added interest, 3 stars from the same set were also stamped and 3 silver colored star shaped sequins were adhered using glossy accents.

Supplies Used:

1. Iris white cardstock 250 gsm

2. Winnie & Walter- Wishing You with Evelin T Designs Stamp set
3. Old Nail Polishes for nail polish marbling
4.Silver Star Shaped Sequins
5. Glossy Accents
6. Gina Marie Designs X stitched rectangles die set
7. Ranger's Archival Jet Black Ink

I am playing along with the following challenges:

The Gossip Column with Taheerah Atchia No. - Marble (I have used nail polish marbling here)

Three Challenge with Shay (There are 3 stamped stars and 3 star sequins)
Sequin Challenge with Kate (3 star shaped sequins have been used to embellish the card)

Here are a couple of pictures of the finished card:--

Thanks for your time! Would love to read your comments :)
Stay Blessed.

  1. What a dreamy background, Preeti, and a great way to make the sentiment be the star! Love your edging, too, thanks for playing along with us at the Simon Says Stamp Wednesday challenge!
