Hi friends !!
List of Supplies:
1. Penny Black Clear Stamps- Enjoy Life
I'm so glad you've taken the time to visit me here. I truly appreciate it :) Today I'd like to share a card in celebration of spring.
This is a side folding A2 size card and I totally adore the sentiment on it :) "enjoy life." The full stop is so meaningful here because it tells us to enjoy life no matter what and thats a lovely and positive message I think.
Synopsis of the Process:
The card panel is a stitched rectangle die cut on which I did some stamping to create the spring scene using stamps from the Penny Black Clear Stamps- Enjoy Life set, these were stamped with different colors of distress ink to create dimension and interest, after the stamping was done, I used an aqua brush to merge the colors and fill in the gaps (since distress inks react with water) this was done to give the look of water coloring. The sentiment is also from the same set and it was stamped with archival jet black ink. There are 3 butterflies on the card with 1 butterfly on the top left looking like it is "off the edge". Then with a couple of yellow brush markers and an aqua brush, the background was water colored to give a loose yellow hue. In the end 2 strips of green colored geometrical washi tape were adhered to ground the sentiment. The panel was attached to the card base with tissue tape.
