Thanks for visiting my blog :) Today I'd like to share a clean and simple floral card. The color scheme is inspired by the Altenew March Inspiration Challenge (yellow, orange and red). This is a side folding standard A2 size card.
Synopsis of the process:
The flowers from the Altenew floral frame stamp set were stamped using archival jet black ink onto bielo cardstock. Zig markers and an aqua brush were used to color the images which were fussy cut. The leaves from the same stamp set were stamped onto the card panel which is a stitched rectangle die cut. Then the leaves were also colored with zig markers and for some added interest (and to cover up a mistake I made while coloring) the green color was spread outside the leaves, it is fun that in the end, the look is nice :) The fussy cut flowers were layered and arranged on the card panel and adhered with Tombow glue. The sentiment is also from the same stamp set and it was stamped with archival jet black ink. To finish off, 3 enamel dots in matching colors were added and some splatter was created with watered down black paint. In the end, the panel was adhered in a titled way to the black card base to create interest.
