Hi friends !
Today I'd like to share a baby card with you :) This card is side folding and 5 by 7 inches in size. The flowers in the pattern paper are quite glittery and pretty, their shine shows up in the close up pictures.
Synopsis of the Process:
The edges of the mat and panel were distressed with a distress tool to give a deckled look. Heat embossing was done on the Dusty Attic foliage chipboard to create a shiny yellowish-green textured bumpy look, to achieve this, besides the watermark ink some glue was also applied to it and the 2 embossing powders (lemon yellow and metalline green) were mixed and used on the chipboard to make it stand out against the busy background. The sentiment "sweet baby" is cut from one of the papers in the same nana's nursery paper stack and matted with a greenish paper from the autumn melody stack.
List of Supplies:
1. DCWV Nana's Nursery Baby Girl Stack
2. DCWV Autumn Melody Adhesive Cardstock Stack

I am playing along with the following challenges:
Dusty Attic March Challenge (Have used the Dusty Attic Chipboard DA1292 Foliage #2 here along with Dress My Craft White Sunshine Sequins, I was inspired by the colors of pink and green in the flowers on the bicycle along with the white flowers, hence, have used white, pink and green color combination here)
DCWV March Stackaholic Challenge (Have used nana's nursery baby girl stack and autumn melody stack here and used the sketch for making this card)
More Than Words March Mini Challenge (The sentiment sweet baby has the word sweet in it)
Butterfly Challenge #75 (The cream colored flowers are repeated here also the pearl flower lace has a repeating flower pattern and it is adhered on the top and the bottom of the panel)
PS: I'm also excited to share that I am having a small crafty giveaway which is open to anyone worldwide (international folks are most welcome). All the details can be found here -- I'd be super thrilled and honored if you play along :) the prize is a 25 USD gift certificate to any store you like. It is open till the end of march and you can do as many or as few steps as you like.
Thanks for your time :)
