Hi Friends :)
I'm thrilled that you have taken the time to visit me here :) Today I'd like to share a floral card with you inspired by the spring season.
Synopsis of the Process:
This is a standard A2 size side folding card. The leaves were stamped then watercolored with zig markers and then fussy cut. I've added tiny handmade flowers which were punched out from small punches and then colored (distress inks), embossed and shaped. I've also added wonky stitched details around the card panel by actually hand stitching 3 times. I wanted the card to have a shabby chic look. The word hugs is a die cut and it was cut out of baby pink cardstock. The background is water colored in a gradient of soft colors, I added some additional pink to add interest at the top. The floral clusters have tiny fussy cut butterflies on them. Some gauze was adhered under the clusters to add texture and interest. The edges of the card panel and mat were distressed to give a worn out look.
