Hi Friends :)
I'd like to share an Art Journal page today. It is dedicated to the great love all our mothers have :) I've used stamps with images of women to depict mothers.
Synopsis of the Process:
Prepped the page with gesso and then stamped the images of women in archival ink. Then added some stamped flowers. Further did stenciling of the fern pattern with distress oxide and the script with distress ink. Then added shading and drips with distress ink, zig markers and an aqua brush. Created splatter with inks. Adhered sequins, thread and mdf flowers (colored with inks) for additional details and texture. Finished off by adding words from Tim Holtz stickers, "She is, Mother, Great, Love".
List of Supplies:
Prima Finnabair Heavy White Gesso
Crafty Individuals Rubber Stamp- Love Letter Ladies
Rubber Dance Stamps- Textured Flowers
Designs by Ryn Stencil- Maidenhair Fern
