I am playing along with the following challenges:
I'd like to share a CAS Mixed Media Card today. I tried out a new technique today i.e.- "Decoupage" and I must say I enjoyed it quite a bit!
Synopsis of the Process:
The card panel is a wonky stitched rectangle die cut on which I decoupaged 3 butterflies from a napkin using mod podge gloss lustre. After that I did some ink smooshing with distress inks and water from a spray bottle. Then using archival ink stamped some flowers. For the sentiment, heat embossed it on vellum using black embossing powder and then tore the vellum to a rough rectangle shape for added interest, stuck this to the card panel with some dots of Tombow glue. Then created some black splatter with watered down black ink from a zig and then stuck the card panel to the card base. In the end, added gold colored sequins to finish off the card.

This is so beautiful! I love the butterflies and the flowers together on a beautiful color palette.
