Post- 183: Grungy Birthday Card

Hi friends :)

I'd like to share a grungy birthday card today. This is a top folding A2 size card. I created a water color panel with the colors from the mood board and added stamped circles to it using bottle caps. Die cut this panel with a frame die. Added dark green distress ink to the light blue card base by blending through a stencil, shifted the stencil and added ink again to give a grungy look. Darkened the edges of the card panel with distress ink. Adhered the panel to the card base, then die cut a vellum circle and heat embossed the sentiment on it. Then added some green ink around it to make the orange pop more. Finally, splashed the card with water droplets and also watered down perfect pearls to add some shiny drops. Finished off with a few sequins and also added a twine bow.
