I'd like to share a Mixed Media Layout today. I've created it in the shabby chic style. I added multiple layers to the layout, tore, deckled and distressed the paper. Added texture with prima's modelling paste applied through a stencil. Wanted the natural look so kept the dusty attic chipboards in their natural wooden color to compliment the pinks and whites. Added color, depth and shadows with distress ink and zig markers. Did background stamping with checkered and scripty stamp. Added more texture with gauze and lace; sparkle with sequins and glitter and also used prima die cuts. Stamped the sentiment from a so suzy stamp in versafine ink. The sentiments read, "Don't let people discourage you. Just fluff your tutu and dance away." and "Dance like no one is watching". I love these sentiment as they are very encouraging and positive :) In the end, added some color to the ballerina and adhered half pearls to her tutu.
