Post 267: Festival Card (Blessings)

Hi friends :)

I'd like to share a card today. This was made for a Guest Design post for Craftreat. All the details can be checked out here. I'm slowly sharing the projects on my blog as I get the time.

For this festival card, I’ve done ink blending through the Indian Motifs stencil using 2 shades of distress oxides (fossilized amber and spiced marmalade) and then accentuated the design by adding a few details with a red brush marker. Stamped the om and shree in green archival ink and added the main sentiment "blessings". The word was die cut twice, colored in 2 shades of green, then glued slightly off centre to get a shadow effect. Added the moli thread as an embellishment and also for its significance in Hindu customs.

List of Supplies:
Cutplorations Word Die- Blessings
Mudra Craft Stamps- Om Shree
Winnie & Walter Essentials: Audrey Cutaways
White Cardstock 250 gsm
