Post 330: Vintage Mixed Media Card

Hi friends :)

I'd like to share a Vintage Styled Mixed Media Card today.

Synopsis of the Process:

For this vintage card which is 6 by 6 inches in size, I created texture in the background with old book pages, white gesso, a net design stencil and modelling paste. Then did water coloring, (to add a bit of color) using Teal and Black Olive pigment powders dissolved in a bit of water. Added stamping in the background for added interest. Added jute twine and thread for texture. Then added the focal vintage image of a lady. Embellised the card with a vintage clock and stars. In the end, added the title "You're only as old as you think you are" and created a bit of splatter.

List of Supplies:

Prima's Heavy White Gesso
Prima's Modelling Paste
Prima Finnabair Checkered Stamp
Prima Finnabair Vintage Vanity Advert #3 stamp
