Hi folks!
Today I created a friendship card in which I wanted to include encouraging messages/quotes about friendship. This was my first opportunity to use Graphic 45 papers, oh man!!! they are so gorgeous and pretty pricey where I stay, so cutting into them was a little intimidating but I did and it was so much fun :)
Here are a few pictures of the card

Process and Supplies:
(In the process of making the card)
I wanted the card to be multi-layered. So the panel is made with a pretty floral purple pattern paper on top of which I adhered quotes and such. So I chose the Graphic 45 Dream- Typography collection and from it fussy cut the friendship quotes by Samuel Coleridge and the other. I also cut out a couple of strips of designs from the same sheet. On one of the strips, I wrote down the quote about friendship "Friendship is the key to true happiness" and to make it stand out from the busy pattern on the strip, I used the Gold Uniball pen and a brustro black thin tip marker. For the Tag I used Graphic 45 -World Fair Collection and adhered two miniature human figures to it (they are holding hands and that signifies friendship). The miniatures are from Itsy Bitsy's Little Birdie brand. I also used the key chipboard from Little Birdie- Itsy Bitsy. There is a doily in the background which was distressed with wilted violet ranger distress ink. All the papers were distressed with the Tim Holtz distressor. I added a few wooden, purple and pink colored buttons to finish off the card. The panel was pasted on 2 other purple pattern papers and the card base is white CS of 6 by 6 inches size, top opening.

2. ITSY BITSY CHALLENGE#1-2016 (The chipboard ornate key used here is from the Little Birdie brand of Itsy Bitsy)
3. PCM CHALLENGES: October - A hint of gold (There is a hint of gold in one of the ribbons used in the tag and also the hand-written quote is written in gold color)
