Hi folks!
So today I decided to create a card that was inspirational and sent a message of staying hopeful. Since October is Breast Cancer Awareness Month and also the Hop to Stop, I decided to keep the color scheme as pinks and purples with a little bit of green to off-set the pinks. Black and white were the neutral colors used. I wanted the sentiment to be encouraging and inspiring.

Pictures of the Process and Supplies Used:
(Layering the die cut leaves, on top of which the feathers will go)
I wanted a multi-layered card and used many scraps/snippets I had to create die cuts. The card base is white and 6 by 6 in size (top opening). On the panel I created, I first distressed a pretty piece of flowery-purple cardstock on top of which the distressed paper doily was adhered on the bottom left. I painted the little birdie chipboard of the girl (bought from itsy bitsy) with blush colored metallic pearlized paint (bought from itsy bitsy) to give it a shimmery look. To make the dress stand out, I stamped on the chipboard dress with a small design from the Mudra Peacock stamp set, in 2 shades. This created the purple-pink dress of the girl. Then I added the black and green leaf die cuts behind the doily, this leaf die was from Peek-a-boo designs. Then I die cut feathers from 2 different dies by Joy crafts and then used distress inks to color them. I decided to stick my sentiment before adhering the feathers, so I die cut a piece of vellum using Gina Marie Designs Stitched Scalloped Ovals die and then stamped on it with a stamp from the Mudra Peacock Stamp set using versamark champagne stamp pad and then jet black archival ink. I wanted a glittery look. I stuck the vellum to a scrap piece of green cardstock and fussy cut it. Then I added pearls. Once the sentiment was affixed, I also adhered the feathers to the panel. Then I added pearls all around the card to give it some shine and a soft touch. I tied a bow with some bakers twine to the top with long threads hanging down because I liked how it looked feminine. Finally, I added 3 flowers from a flower embellishments pack bought from itsy bitsy and then affixed pearls to their centers.
Hope you liked the card. Thanks for your time! Till next time, Stay Blessed :)
