Art Journal Page: Special Delivery


So today I decided to start an art journal. I used an old diary (of 2012) which was a complimentary gift my mom got. It has yellowed pages and dates (which I love) and since she didn't use it, I borrowed it.

I was inspired by some black and white pictures of pregnancy in the "Brunch" magazine, so I decided to use one of the pictures in this art journal page. The black and white image was shaded a little with gelatos to make it noticeable amongst the blues and greens.

1. Chipboard from Dusty Attic- Bows (DA0774) and Mini Birds #3 (DA0727Z) 
2. Supplies from Peekaboo Designs- abstract triangle and dimensional stencils to create texture in the background, the dual leaf die and the Little Wonder Stamp set (Thanks Ria for the dimensional stencil :) I love it)
3. Artzone Metallic paints- rich olive and paradise bay
4. Heidi Swapp sprays (Thanks Priya mam for the sprays, I love them :) )
5. Prima clock rubber stamp and blue mica powder
6. Inka Gold- blue, mint
7. Snippets of Lace
8. Acrylic embellishments
9. Camlin white gesso
10. Mont Marte Impasto Paste
11. Prima 3D matte gel medium
12. Silicone glue

17. Ranger Distress ink- peacock feathers and blending tool+foam
