Christmas Tag 1

Hi folks!

I decided to create a few fun christmas tags :) I think these are a great way to spruce up the packing of christmas gifts or they can even be used as bookmarks!! I have created the background with stencil and distress ink and then added some texture with the same stencil and texture paste, then painted over some parts of the texture with red and green. The snowman is stamped on vellum and then to highlight it, I colored some parts of it with markers. This is meant to be a fun, playful, colorful tag for christmas :) and I love the snowman image, it is very cute!! I have kept the color scheme traditional with reds and greens and I think the sparkle adds to the festive look!

I was inspired by the holiday tag made by Rebecca Keppel on day 25 of 25 days of christmas tags. This is her beautiful tag! I was inspired to use the vellum, the snowman and also have a red patterned background.
