CAS One Layer birthday card 1

Hi Friends!!

I would like to share a Clean and Simple Style One Layer Birthday Card I made.  I wanted the colorful flowers to stand out and be the focus in the card so I kept the look of the sentiment subdued with black on black heat embossing.

Synopsis of the process:

This is an A2 size landscape top folding card. First I embossed the stitched circle design on the front of the card using a Gina Marie Die and a sizzix silicone rubber pad in a big shot plus. Then I scored 3 horizontal lines using the MS score board. Then I heat embossed some of the flower and leaf images from the Uniko- Originally Organic stamp set (embossed few images, then used masking to emboss the other images within the cirlce), for the heat embossing I used the Zing opaque white embossing powder for the flowers and the Wow Metaline green embossing powder for the leaves. Then I colored the images with Faber Castell Water Color Pencils. To add some details to the card white dots and dashes were drawn using a Uniball Signo White Gel pen. The sentiment reads "birthday wishes" and it is from the Winnie & Walter- A tree for all seasons stamp set. The sentiment was heat embossed with a tone on tone look using Ranger's fine detail black embossing powder. To finish the card, 3 enamel dots were added.
