Hi folks!!
Here are a few pictures of the card:
I've created a Clean and Simple birthday card today :) Used stenciling, ink blending, masking and stamping for this. I really like the ombre look in the background from yellowish to greenish to bluish. I colored some of the leaves in the tree foliage to add some interest and also make the tree stand out from the stenciled background. Those 2 little birdies perched on the tree are cute, I think, aren't they? It was fun to add them at the end. I love little surprises in a stamp set, you know when besides the big stamps, we get small little designs to play with, these 2 birdies were like that from the winnie & walter- a tree for all seasons set, the sentiment is from the same stamp set.
Here are a few pictures of the card:
Supplies Used:
1. Bielo White Cardstock 300 gsm
2. Winnie & Walter Stamp set- a tree for all seasons
3. Rainbow stencil
4. Tim Holtz mini distress inkpads- peacock feathers, squeezed lemonade and evergreen bough
5. Ranger's round blending tool and foams
6. Ranger's archival jet black inkpad
7. Gina Marie Designs- stitched rectangle die (used it to create a negative mask out of a rough piece of paper)
8. Zig Clean Color Real Brush Pens (pack of 12)

Thanks for your time! Would love to read your comments :)
Stay Blessed.
I am playing along with the following challenges:
Winnie & Walter 3rd birthday bash celebrations:---
1. Stencil Challenge with Kelly (I have used a stencil to create the background)
2. Ink Blending Challenge with Vanessa (I have done ink blending through the stencil using distress inks)
3. Three Challenge with Shay (I have used 3 colors to create the ink blending background)
4. Moodboard challenge with Heather P. (I was inspired by the green leaves and the "spring" feel of the moodboard, hence I have shown a tree with leaves in this card)
5. Less Is More- Colour Challenge ( I have used 3 adjacent colors from the color wheel- yellowish, greenish and bluish)
Love these layers, just perfect for the challenge. Thanks for sharing at Less is More!

Such a lovely card, Preety! You are absolutely right, sometimes it's the small stamps in a set that often are the most fun to use, and surprisingly are overlooked! Wonderful stamping on top of your stenciled background. So happy you joined my Winnie & Walter stencil challenge!
ReplyDeleteBeautiful card! I love how you created that background! Thank you for entering my challenge!
