Hi Friends
I'd like to share a spring time happy card with you. Also, would like to share that I am having a crafty giveaway which is open to anyone (international folks are most welcome) you can find all the details here -- I'd be super thrilled and honored if you play along :) the prize is a 25 USD gift certificate to any store you like.
Now onto the card, this is a 5 by 7 size side folding card.
I stamped one of the leaf design stamps from the Winnie & Walter Stamp Set- A tree for all seasons with Ranger's Archival Jet Black Ink, randomly to create my background. I wanted it to have an organic, loose water colored look so I water colored the leaves with an aqua brush and zig markers in 3 colors of spring- blue, yellow and green. This panel was die cut with the x stitched rectangles die. A piece of vellum was also die cut with a smaller x stitched rectangle die and then the sentiment from the W & W stamp set was heat embossed on it. The vellum was adhered to the panel using dots of glossy accents and then the panel was adhered to the card base using fevicol glue. To finish off the card, some yellow, blue and green sequins were added with glossy accents.

1. Iris white cardstock 250 gsm
