Hi friends :)
Thanks a bunch for visiting me here today! I hope you had a great weekend.
Today, I'd like to share a love themed card with a "shower of love".
This is a side folding A2 size card.
Synopsis of the Process:
Did some ink blending of distress inks to incorporate the rainbow colors. Then did some more light ink blending to color the die cuts. Adhered the die cuts to the panel and stamped the hearts in red ink to look like the cloud of love is raining down hearts onto the couple. The couple is represented by the blue and pink umbrellas in the drink. Stamped the sentiment "love" on the cloud by partially inking one of the light bulb stamps in the PS stamp set. Die cut the ink blended panel with a scalloped stitched rectangle die and then adhered it to the card base with the frame in the opposite direction for interest. Adhered 3 transparent droplets to show water and as embellishments. Also, added red stickle dots to the hearts.
2. Paper Smooches Free Spirits Icons Dies
3. Ranger's Distress Mini Inkpads- festive berries, carved pumpkin, mustard seed, cracked pistachio, peacock feathers, chipped sapphire, picked raspberry and wilted violet
4. Ranger's round blending tool and foams
5. Glossy Accents
Here are a couple of pictures of the card:
I am playing along with the following challenges:
Paper Smooches April 2017 Challenge- Showers (depicted a shower of love plus rainbow+linked the PS supplies to the shop)
Pixie Snippets Playground Weeks 277-278 (used snippets for the die cut elements)
Word Art Wednesday Weeks 278-279
Mix It Up Challenge #30 (playing along with the right side, was inspired by the umbrellas and colors)
Happy Little Stampers Anything Goes with Dies
CFC#171
Simon Says Wednesday Challenge- Spring Color Inspiration (have used all the colors from the moodboard)
Thanks for your time!
Love reading your comments :)
Stay Blessed.
