Post 143: CAS card (Hello)

Hi friends :)

Thanks a bunch for visiting me here today! I hope you are having a pleasant weekend. To all my friends who celebrate Easter, happy Easter wishes :) Hope you have fun with your family and loved ones.

Today, I'd like to share a Clean and Simple Card inspired by spring. I wanted the flower to be the focus.

Synopsis of the Process:

I used the beautiful fresh cut peonies stamp set to create the layered flower. I mixed and matched the ink colors I had to get nice pink hues. The stalk and leaf were also stamped and I added some shading with a darker green zig marker to tone the brightness of these down because I wanted the flower to pop. Then I created a little shading at the bottom of the flower with a grey zig marker. Stamped the sentiment in grey ink and adhered the drops with glossy accents. In the end, I adhered the card panel which has x stitched detailing to the grey card base in a titled manner for added interest.

List of Supplies:

1. The Ton Stamps- Fresh Cut Peonies
2. Iris and Grey Cardstock 250 gsm
3. Gina Marie Designs x stitched rectangle die
4. DCAM Transparent Drops
5. Glossy Accents
6. Tombow mono multi glue
7. Ranger's Archival Inkpad- Emerald Green
8. Stampin Up Classic Inkpads- Melon Mambo, Old Olive and Mossy Meadow
9. Ranger's Dye Inkpad- Pink Gumball
