Post 255: Encouragement Card

Hi friends :)

How are you? How has the weekend been for you? I've had a hectic week and it doesn't seem to be letting up :) but I like the work so its all good. Today, I will be sharing an encouragement card I made while Guest Designing for CrafTreat Stencils. The full post can be checked out here

I've done ink blending in the background using distress oxides and then blended black soot distress ink through the Buddha stencil. Then just stamped the sentiment in black. I really love that quote, "Be the light that helps others see".

List of Supplies:

Distress Oxides- Fossilized Amber, Worn Lipstick and Spiced Marmalade
Cream, White & Black Cardstock 250 gsm
Versafine Onyx Black Mini Inkpad
CrafTreat Buddha Stencil
Stamplorations Stamp- True North (Shery Russ Designs)
Cutplorations Crazy Double Running Stitch Rectangle Die
Tombow Mono Multi Liquid Glue

Here is a photo of the card:

I am playing along with the following challenges:

Paperartsy 2017 #12- Hybrid Inks (Used distress oxides here)
All Sorts Challenge week #431 (new beginning here is starting on a new spiritual path, a new and positive take on life)
TIME OUT Challenges #91 (I chose to go with the warm colors in Bev's card and also the positioning of the elements)
SSS Monday Challenge- School or Study Related (Gone with the study of meditation and Yoga)
Stamplorations Anything Goes Challenge (used a stamplorations stamp and die)

Thanks for your time :)
Love reading your sweet comments.
Stay Blessed.
