Christmas Card

Hi folks!!

Today I decided to make a christmas card and inspiration for it struck me at 3:30 am so I sat up through the night/early morning hours to make the card. The color scheme is festive: red, gold and white and I threw in a lil bit of glittery green to add interest.

Here are a few pictures of the card:

Supplies and Tools Used:

1. Dual Leaf die and Scalloped Stitched Rectangle Die from Peek-a-Boo Designs
2. Red and white Cardstock from Itsy Bitsy
3. Evergreen and Winter flower embossing folder by Sizzix
4. Glitter foam sheets- red and green
5. Baker's Twine
6. Golden packaging paper
7. Vellum
8. Oval Stitched Scallop die by Gina Marie Designs
9. Ranger's multi matte medium
10. Silicone glue
11. Scissors
12. Die cutting and embossing done using the Sizzix Big Shot plus
13. Wink of Stella Brush - Clear
14. Uniball pen - gold
15. Bell and Star Embellishment
16. My Favorite Things Stamp- Warm and Fuzzy Friends
17. Ranger's Archival Ink- Jet Black
18. Stampoholic

Hope you like the card. Thanks for your time.

I am linking the card to the following challenges:

1. Peek-a-boo Designs Challenge #11- Recipe- I have kept the color scheme red and white and added the twist of layering and using glitter (glitter foam for leaves and wink of stella). I have added the "one" as dear one in gold pen in the sentiment.

  7. What a wonderful card Preeti! There is so much going on in it. Ideally we usually like to see a few less layers on CAS cards but having said that I can't see how this design would work if you took anything away. It has a very luxurious look to it. Thanks so much for joining in our 300th celebration and do join us again next week. xx
