Hi !
It is Diwali season in India which is festive time and I was super busy at home with friends and relatives so have not had the time to blog about a few cards I was inspired to make for challenges over the past 2 days. The first is a thank you card and I kept the color palette as grey, purple and white. I wanted to incorporate purple in a beautiful way to support the hop to stop (which is an initiative to create awareness about domestic violence). I wanted to keep the sentiment of thank you as a reminder that there is always something to be thankful for and also to thank those who make life a lot easier for us (our loved ones, our employees, helpers etc).

Here are a few pictures of the card:
Process and Supplies Used:
(Coloring the Cheery Lynn Flower Petals)
I did a lot of die cutting for this card. The 3 flowers and leafs were made from scratch using scraps of white CS and Cheery Lynn Dies (B310-Shasta Daisy, B307-Sweet Williams Strip, B436- Tea Rose Medium and CAFLRS13- Flourish #13). I used Ranger Distress inks ((picked raspberry and wilted violet) and tropical gelatos (purple and pink) to color the petals. The petals were rolled with a ball tool to give a realistic 3-D effect. Half pearls and a jewel were added to the flower centers. I took a piece of scrap polka dotted pattern paper I had from an earlier project, cut it a little under the A2 card base size (grey card base) and die cut the thank you, using the Sizzix thinlits- celebration script words die. Then I die cut some scrap white CS with the same thank you die and inlaid that into the purple panel. I added the focal image of the cat playing with a cotton yarn ball. This was from a set of glittery stickers I had. Then I put it all together by layering the leaves and flowers on the top right using silicone glue/fevicol.
Hope you like the card! Thanks for your time :) Stay Blessed
