Black and Silver Birthday Card

Hi Friends

I'd like to share a card with you today. I'm also excited to share that I am having a small crafty giveaway which is open to anyone (international folks are most welcome). All the details can be found here -- I'd be super thrilled and honored if you play along :) the prize is a 25 USD gift certificate to any store you like.

Now onto the card, this is a top folding landscape style A2 size card. The pictures don't capture it well but it is a very glittery and shiny card due to the silver embossing :)

Synopsis of the Process:-

To make the card I basically smooshed the card front with a versamark mini watermark inkpad through a stencil (The stencil was taped down to prevent it from moving around) I used the Winnie & Walter Creative Screening- Do you see what I see? After That I sprinkled on Wow Metallic Silver Sparkle- Embossing Glitter and then heat embossed it with a heat tool. Then I did ink blending on 3 die cut mini tags using 3 of my favourite colors of distress inks (picked raspberry, peacock feathers and mustard seed). Then I stamped sentiments from 2 winnie & walter stamp sets (I had to do partial stamping of some of the sentiments so I covered the unwanted words with tape and then stamped) using Ranger's archival jet black ink. Some silver star shaped sequins were pasted on the tags to embellish them. A baker's twine was tied around the top of the card and the tags were pierced through them. The bow was tied on the side to be off the page. I wanted the twine and mini tags to give the look of a birthday banner :)
