Post 190- Floral Card: Hugs

Hi friends :)

How are you this Saturday morning ?
I'd like to share a Clean and Simple Floral card today. I did inlaid die cutting with this and popped up the "Hugs" sentiment (with layers of die cuts underneath) to give dimension and add interest. This is an A2 size landscape style side folding card. I did water coloring using zig markers and an aqua brush. The card panel is water color paper and it was die cut with a wonky stitched die.

List of Supplies:

Winnie & Walter Stamp- In Bloom: Lola's Bouquet with Joni Andaya
Winnie & Walter In a Word Cutaways: Hugs
Cutplorations Crazy Double Running Stitch Rectangle Die
Canson Watercolor Paper
Zig Clean Color Real Brush Pens
Aqua Brush
Blue Cardstock 250 gsm
Aleene's Original Tacky Glue
Versafine Onyx Black Mini Inkpad

Here are a couple of photographs of the card:

  1. Oh Preeti, what a lovely card! I love the way you "popped up" the die-cut sentiment. It adds so much dimension. I must say that watercolouring across the lower half really is very effective. Love the image and, of course, that crazy stitched die cut. Thanks so much for joining our Watercooler Wednesday Challenge this week.
