I created the stamped sentiment as a little puzzle for added interest :) it reads "Walk Tall".  The background has layers of stamping and stenciling with archival inks and Lindy's sprays. Post 345: Holiday Card (Warm Winter Wishes)

Hi friends!

I'd like to share a Holiday Card with you :) This is a standard A2 sized top folding card. I love the warm tones on it. For this holiday card, I created the background by sponging on yellow, orange and brown hued distress oxides through the Icraft bricks design stencil onto a scalloped rectangle die cut. Then I blended some vintage photo distress oxide onto the edges of the die cut to soften the look. The sentiment is a Cutplorations die cut which was heat embossed in white and for embellishment, the holiday green die cuts, half pearls and twine bows were added.

List of Supplies:

Cutplorations Warm Winter Wishes Phrase Die
Sizzix Tim Holtz Holiday Greens (mini) Dies
Winnie & Walter Essentials- Audrey Cutaways
Distress Oxides- Spiced Marmalade, Vintage Photo & Fossilized Amber
Icraft Bricks Stencil

White and Chocolate Brown Cardstock
Twine
Half Pearls
Snippet of dark Green Cardstock

Post 344: Grungy Art Journal Page- Be You

Hi friends!

I'd like to share a Grungy Art Journal Page- "Be You". I'm creating art journal pages on separate sheets and will bind them together later. For this art journal page, I wanted a very grungy and worn out look. I sponged on black acrylic paint through the Icraft branch stencil, then added color with Lindy’s sprays. Then did stamping with black archival ink, doodling & mark making with a black marker and white gel pen. Then dabbed on some white gesso in random areas and added the butterfly die cuts. Then created ink splatter and scrunched up the panel & adhered it to a black mat.

List of Supplies:

ICraft Branch Stencil

Dylusions Cling Stamps- Basic Backgrounds

Post 341: CAS Christmas Card

Hi friends !

I'd like to share a Clean and Simple Christmas Card. This was part of my DT work for PABD, all the details can be checked out here. I heat embossed the Poinsettia and sentiment in gold and watercolored the flower with Festive Berries Distress Ink refill. I wanted a deep red color and whenever I use my zig markers, the red somehow looks pinkish so in order to attain a deep, rich red I used the distress ink refill and it worked beautifully. Then added a bit of washi tape at the bottom to balance the design, a few sequins for sparkle and a few dots of red stickles on the chocolate brown die cut. They aren't visible in the photo but they add a bit of shine to the crosses all around the dome die cut. Also, I foam mounted the dome die cut and the flower :) I kept the color scheme quite festive with cream, chocolate brown, red and gold and I must say I love that color combo and will be using it again!

List of Supplies:

PABD stamp- Poinsettia
PABD die- Dome Tower Dies
Ranger's Fine Embossing Powder- Gold
Versamark Watermark Mini Inkpad
Homemade Emboss Buddy
Gold and red sequins
Festive Berries Distress Ink Refill
Cream and Chocolate Brown Cardstock
