Post 372: Cute CAS Christmas Card (penguin)

Hi friends!

I'd like to share a cute Clean and Simple Christmas Card I made. This was for a Guest Design Post at Tubby Craft Stamps. All the details are hereFor this CAS card, I stamped the Penguin from the Tubby Craft Penguin Love Stamp Set onto a snippet of Canson Watercolor paper, colored it with prisma color pencils and then fussy cut the image. Further, stamped the sentiment from the same stamp set, on the kraft cardbase and foam mounted the image. Then added a few snow-like dots with a white gel pen. In the end, added a few silver sequins & silver stickles.

Here is a photo of the card:

Post 369: Cute Card (Beary good friend)

Hi friends !

I'd like to share a cute card today :) I made this for my Guest Design post at Hndmd. All the details are here. I like that this card can be used for christmas or even for a birthday or any other celebration since the sentiment, "to a beary good friend" is very neutral. For this card, I stamped the adorable bear & sentiment from the CrafTangles Bearing Gifts Stamp onto Canson Watercolor Paper & then did watercoloring with Zig Clean Color Real Brush Markers. I’ve matted the card panel with a stitched rectangle die cut (Gina Marie Stitched Rectangle Dies), cut from CrafTangles Rich Red Cardstock which is the perfect color for Christmassy creations.

Here are a couple of photos of the card:

Post 310: Cute Birthday Card (Pandas)

Hi friends!

I'd like to share a Cute Birthday Card today. This was part of my DT work for Peekaboo Designs. All the details can be found here. I think those lil Pandas are so adorable :) the frame is titled because Papa Panda & Baby Panda are standing there :)

Process:

1. Die cut the grey scalloped frame using the Scalloped Rectangle Die. Also, die cut the scalloped circle with Canson Watercolor paper and the Scalloped Circle die.
2. Stamped the cute Panda images & sentiment from the new Panda Hugs Stamp onto watercolor paper and then did watercoloring to create a pale shade of blue on the balloons, frame & sentiment.
3. Matted the sentiment with a strip of grey cardstock.
4. Assembled the card together by first adhering a strip of the pretty new Classy Glassy Washi Tape on the bottom of the card front. Then adhered the die cut frames. Shadows were then colored in using a grey zig marker after which the Panda images were adhered. In the end, a few silver sequins were added for a little sparkle.

Post 197: Father's Day Card

Hi friends :)

I'd like to share a simple and cute father's day card today. This is a top folding A2 size card. I have used a geometrical design stencil and the main colors as blue and green on the card to keep the project masculine. I loved the way the background came out with the stencil and distress ink blending. The critter images were stamped with archival ink and the heart with distress oxide. The sentiment was stamped on a strip of black cardstock in fossilized amber distress oxide but since it did not show up very brightly, I went over it with a white gel pen. In the end, embellished the card with a few silver sequins and a yellow half pearl.

List of Supplies:

Winnie & Walter: Scenery- Do you see what I see ? Creative Screenings
Winnie & Walter Stamp: The Big, the Bold and the Happy

Post 184- CAS Birthday Card (seams)

Hi friends :)

How has your weekend been? It is Sunday night here, so the weekend is almost over. I spent a good deal of it crafting. How do you normally spend your weekends?

Today I'd like to share a CAS birthday card. This is a side folding 5 by 7 inches card. It is a fun and sweet card with an adorable bunny image. I had this stamp for a month now and I used it for the first time today. It was a lot of fun watercoloring the image :) So basically I've masked and done ink blending in the background with distress oxides. And then added some thread and 3 clear sequins to embellish the card and also tie into the theme of sewing. I've tried to use Neapolitan colors (pink, vanilla and chocolate). I tried to keep lots of white space to ensure the integrity of CAS is maintained.

List of Supplies:

Your Next stamp- Sprinkles: Sew Cute
Distress Oxide Inkpads- Worn Lipstick and fossilized Amber
Versafine Onyx Black Mini Inkpad
Archival Ink- Jet Black
Ranger's Round blending tool and foams
Sizzix Framelits- circles die
Zig Clean Color Real Brush Pens
Zig Detailer Brush
Thread
Mudra clear sequins
Glossy Accents
Tombow Mono Multi Glue
Iris Cardstock 250 gsm
Canson Watercolor Paper

Post 159: CAS Mother's Day Card

Hi Friends :)

Mother's day is soon approaching so I thought I would make a Cute CAS Mother's Day Card for my mom :) This is an A2 size top folding card.

Synopsis of the Process:

First I stamped the giraffe on Canson watercolor paper and water colored it with zig markers and an aqua brush. Then fussy cut the image. The card panel is a wonky stitch rectangle die cut of water color paper. I created some ground and shadow of the Giraffe with zigs and then stamped some flowers and colored them with zigs, then drew on some stalks with a black marker and also added little leaves with the zigs. Adhered the giraffe to the card panel and then stamped the sentiment. Then stamped a heart near the flowers. In the end, adhered the card panel to the card base.

List of Supplies:

Winnie & Walter Stamp- Welcome to the Family with Evelin T Designs
