Post 328: Mixed Media Christmas Card

Hi friends!

Hope you are having a fine saturday :) I'd like to share a Mixed Media Christmas Card today.

Synopsis of the Process:

For this Christmas card, created texture in the background using Niro Craft’s stencil and Prima's Modelling paste and then sprinkled on Niro Craft’s Pigment Powders: Chilli Red, Golden Yellow & Parrot Green and sprayed on water for dissolving the pigments and creating movement. Then heat embossed Niro Craft’s wreath design Chipboard in white. Added the sentiment, "Peace Love Joy" which is a Cutplorations die cut and then decorated the wreath with gems, created a floral cluster, added a few twine bows and ink splatter in the end.

List of Supplies:

Cutplorations Peace Love Joy Phrase Die
Prima's Modelling Paste
Prima's 3d Matte Gel
Niro Craft Pigment Powders
Niro Craft Wreath Chipboard
Niro Craft Stencil
Gems
Jute Twine
White and Black Cardstock
Mulberry Flowers, Red Berries
Tacky Glue

Here is a photo of the card:

Post 209: CAS Christmas Card (white on white)

Hi Friends :)

I'd like to share a Clean and Simple Christmas Card. The color scheme is white on white with a touch of red in the gem. The procedure was simple enough, it involved die cutting and adhering the respective die cuts to the card. I was happy to use some of my snippets of white cardstock for the die cutting. I really love the white on white look, I think it looks very elegant :) The sentiment reads "Peace Love Joy"

List of Supplies:

Cutplorations Die- Peace Love Joy Phrase Die
Cutplorations Die- Crazy Double Running Stitch Rectangles Die
Cutplorations Die- Trendy Spring Blooms Die
Iris White Cardstock 250 gsm
Tombow Mono Multi Glue
Red Gem

Post 120: Masculine Birthday Card

Hi friends :)

I'd like to share a masuline themed birthday card today.

This is a top folding A2 size card. I added the panel in a lopsided tilted way to add interest, wanted it to look like office documents hence, added the 3 paper clips at the top. There are 3 colors here besides the neutrals- red, grey and blue. I distressed the edges of the panel to give it a hand torn look and added some stitch lines with a fine point black sharpie. The pattern papers used here are from The Gentleman collection by Papericious. I've used a red button to accent the banner. The sentiment is from Verve stamps and is die cut with a Gina Marie Designs stitched rectangle die. The die cut sentiment is from the Sizzix Tim Holtz Celebration Script words die set, I've colored it partially with black soot distress ink.

List of Supplies:

1. The Gentleman Paper Pack by Papericious
2. Verve stamps- Lucky Day Digi stamp
3. Gina Marie Designs Stitched Rectangles Die Set
4. Sizzix Tim Holtz Celebration Script words die set
5. Paper Clips
6. Tissue Tape
7. Tombow Mono Multi Glue
8. Iris Cardstock 250 gsm
9. Black Sharpie Fine Point
10. Ranger's blending tool and foam
11. Tim Holtz Black Soot Distress Ink Pad

Here are a couple of pictures of the card :--
