Post 150: Plaid Christmas Card

Hi Folks :)

How are you doing? I hope all is well with you and the weather is pleasant in your part of the world. It is scorching hot summer time here which is not my favorite season. Hoping the showers come soon and offer up some respite.

Onto the card, I'd like to share a Clean and Simple Christmas A2 size card today. I wanted to go for the organic-water colored look so the plaid pattern and the blue watercoloring on the wreath are in keeping with that look. I've used red tinsel embossing powder here, so its quite shiny and sparkly which doesn't show up on the pictures.

Synopsis of the Process:

Embossed the images and sentiment on the die cut rectangle card panel with red tinsel embossing powder. Then did some loose water coloring on the wreath with an aqua brush and a blue zig marker. Adhered clear sequins to the card panel with glossy accents. Then prepared the card base by creating an organic plaid pattern using zig markers and an aqua brush. In the end adhered the card panel to the card base in a titled way for added interest.

1. Hero Arts- Lia Griffiths- Happy Merry Messages Stamp
2. Ranger's Red Tinsel Embossing powder
3. Versamark Watermark Mini Inkpad
