Post 239: Floral Card- Hello

Hi friends :)

I'd like to share a floral card today. This is one of the 11 cards I made for a Guest Design post on stencils, you can check out all the details here.

I had a lot of fun making this since it involved watercoloring. Essentially, I sponged distress oxides through a double layered floral stencil to have 2 flowers and a couple of lil butterflies on my card and then did watercoloring within the flowers and outside them with distress oxides, zig markers and an aqua brush. I wanted it to have a soft, dreamy look. Then, I die cut the water color panel, stamped the sentiment, mounted the panel on a black A2 sized card base and added a little washi tape and pearls for embellishment.

List of Supplies:

Winnie & Walter Audrey Essential Cutaways
Winnie & Walter Stamp- The Big, the bold & the happy
ICraft Double Layered Floral Stencil
Distress Oxide Inkpads- Broken China & Cracked Pistachio
Versafine Onyx Black Mini Inkpad
Zig Clean Color Real Brush markers
Canson Watercolor paper
Black Cardstock 270 gsm
Aqua Brush
Washi Tape
Adhesive pearls
Tombow Mono Multi Glue
Ranger's round blending tool and foams

Here is a photo of the card:

I am playing along with the following challenges:

Winnie & Walter July Color Combo with Heather H. (was inspired by the blues and greens)
Butterfly Challenge #84- done both: You choose-I have chosen watercoloring and have included wedgewood blue, there are 2 butterflies and 2 blooms on this card.

Thanks for your time.
Love reading your sweet comments :)
Stay Blessed.
