Post 248: Christmas Card

Hi friends :)

How are you doing ? It is the start of yet another week and heres hoping it is a great one for you.
Today, I'm sharing a christmas card I made for a GD post on stencils on FB.  All the details are here.
I am slowly sharing the cards as and when I can find the time to blog.

This is a standard A2 sized top folding card. I did ink blending (using shades of blue and black distress inks) through the tree design ICraft stencil to create a christmas winter night scene, added a few splatters of white gesso and then adhered a few silver sequins. Then, did background stamping with a grey ink and a Kaisercraft Fa La La Stamp and then added a strip of silver washi tape on which I stamped the sentiment, "Christmas Blessings" from a Paper Sweeties stamp with black staz on ink.

List of Supplies:

White and black cardstock 250 gsm
Icraft Tree Stencil
Distress Mini Inkpads- Chipped Sapphire, Peacock feathers and black soot
Archival Inkpad- Shadow Grey
Silver Sequins
Tombow Mono Multi Glue
Winnie & Walter Essentials- Audrey Cutaways
Kaisercraft Stamp- Fa La La
Silver Washi Tape
Black StazOn Inkpad
Paper Sweeties Stamp- Homespun Holidays

Here is a photo of the card:

I am playing along with the following challenges:

HLS August Christmas Challenge (went with anything goes and skipped the optional twist)

Thanks for your time :)
Love reading your sweet comments.
Stay Blessed!
