Post 453: Mixed Media Card- Thank You (Inspiration for Craft Stamper's Take it Make it Challenge-July)

Hi folks!

Craft Stamper Magazine's Take it Make it Challenge for July is live and it is an anything goes stamping challenge with great prizes, so please do join in with your crafty makes. For all the details, please click HERE.

I've created a mixed media card in which the colors were added using Lindy's magical Shakers- Cathedral Pines Green Magical Shaker, Yodeling Yellow and Oktoberfest Orange. I did background stamping with Mudra stamps- Go Confident, Old Script, Rustic Diamond using Archival Inks. And background stenciling with AB Studio Stencil 72Stencil 24Stencil 3 and black soot distress ink. The floral focal image is from AB Studio's  Stencil 17, I heat embossed through it using Lindy's Midnight Pewter Embossing Powder, The sentiment is from Mudra Stamps Dainty Blooms II, heat embossed in Lindy's Purely White Embossing Powder.  In the end, I highlighted some of the shapes with a white Posca pen, darkened the edges of the watercolor paper panel and foam mounted it on an A2 sized black card base.

Here's a quick little video showing how I did heat embossing through a stencil:

(I used Versamark Watermark Mini Inkpad, anti-static powder pouch,
AB Studio's stencil 17 & Lindy's Embossing Powder in the video)

PS: I'm having a birthday giveaway, open worldwide, in case you'd like to join in, all the details are HERE.

Thanks a lot for your precious time :)
Stay Blessed!
