Post 492: Vintage Card (Inspiration for Craft Stamper Magazine's Take It Make It Challenge- November,2018)

Hi friends!!
Hope you are well.

Craft Stamper Magazine's Take It Make It Challenge for November is live. It is an "Anything Stamping Goes" challenge with beautiful prizes on offer and you could win the chance to Guest Design & be published in the magazine, so please read the rules and do link up your gorgeous creations :) To visit the Craft Stamper blog, please click HERE

For the inspiration, I've created a Simple Vintage Card using Tim Holtz Cling Rubber Stamps- Theories (I added this beautiful stamp set to my crafty stash recently & was eager to use it). I blended various distress inks (vintage photo, ground espresso, antique linen & rusty hinge) and distress oxides (vintage photo & ground espresso) to create the vintage looking background, created some splatters with water and dabbed them off with a tissue for the oxidization effect. I kept the inking lighter towards the center and darker at the edges of the panel. Then stamped the focal image and sentiment using Versafine Onyx Black Ink. Created multiple mats in neutral colors and foam mounted the panel onto them for a more dimensional effect. In the end, drew on a wonky stitched border using a fine line black marker.

Here are a few photos of the card:

Look forward to seeing your beautiful entries in Craft Stamper's TIMI challenge for November, all the details are on their blog, HERE.

Thanks a lot for your precious time :)
Stay Blessed!
