Post 202: Mixed Media Layout- Make Today Amazing

Hi friends :)

I'd like to share a Mixed Media Layout titled Make Today Amazing. The smaller titles read "Live your life" and "Fly". I wanted the layout to convey a warm and summery feel where one can be totally free .

I've created layers, used the color palette of yellow, white and black with touches of pink for contrast. Used water coloring to create the background. Done ink blending (with distress ink and distress oxide) through multiple stencils. Also did background stamping. In the end, finished off with some ink splatter.

Post 188- Mixed Media Mini Canvas: You are amazing

Hi friends !

I'd like to share a Mixed Media Mini Canvas today. Wanted to make an encouraging art piece so the recipient could look at it and feel motivated.

Wanted the canvas to be minimalistic and pretty, having a white on white look. I added sparkle to the project using the hearty melange mix which consists of gold glitter and sequins. Texture is added by using impasto paste through a stencil, gesso with a knife and burlap. Color was added using alcohol sprays which had a gold shine.
