I'd like to share a set of Media Media
Artist Trading Cards I created on the
theme of water/sea/beach.
These are 5 and they were made on
recycled cardboard.
I really love the look of
corrugated cardboard so I let the
texture show through in some places.
I created
texture with gesso and texture paste, created a
grungy look by tearing the paper and added colors using
sprays, wax and acrylic colors. Then to embellish the project used
metal charms, gauze, burlap cord and marbles. Added more texture with
mini beads and glass glitter. Colored the
dusty attic chipboard pebbles with Picket fence distress inkpad. In the end, finished with
white splatter.
