Pink card- Breast cancer awareness month (october)

Hi peeps!

So I decided to create a clean and simple card in honour of all the women who are battling breast cancer and also to all the brave survivors. I had to use a lot of pink and the only word die (you're brilliant) I possess as of now fitted brilliantly with the theme.

Here are a couple of pictures of the card I created:

Process and supplies used:

So I used a leaf stencil and 2 shades of distress ink- wilted violet and picked raspberry to create the leafy background. I followed it up by adding a strip of pretty washi tape on the edge. Then I die cut a piece of vellum using the Gina Marie X stitched rectangle die set. I die cut some white card stock with the you're brilliant die set from Die Cuts And More. I then colored the die cut words with the same colors of distress ink. I adhered the die cut words to the vellum using silicone glue and then adhered the vellum to the cardstock. I also added some plum and pink sequins for some added interest. The card base I chose was pink colored.

Thanks for your time! Please do leave some comments so I know you've visited. Makes my day to read your inputs :) Stay Blessed!!
