Post 243: Mixed Media Layout- Unforgettable

Hi friends :)

I'd like to share a Mixed Media Layout today, it is titled "Unforgettable". I made this as part of a Guest Design post on fb, you can find all the details here

I decided to create the layout around a photo of beautiful eyes. I was inspired by the song Unforgettable by French Montana, I love their video. It is a hip hop song and usually, hip hop songs have women in sexy outfits dancing or some such visuals. In this video, they have shown real people dancing, no plastic surgery also they have filmed it in real surroundings. I really liked that. Those lil ones in the music video are so talented!! I have kept the layout simple, wanted to play with colors and stencils, so have created texture with modelling paste using stencils. Background stamping was done. I used some homemade tatting lace here which my mom made. I've also used some piano washi tape to keep with the musical theme. I have scribbled on the lyrics of the song here and there for interest. Some splatter was done with white gesso.

List of Supplies:

Prima's Modelling paste
Prima Heavy white gesso
Icraft stencils
Palette knives
Papericious Spritz Sprays- Ocean Blue, Deep Teal & French Roast
Little Birdie Color Splash Sprays- Lemon Zing, Lime Splash
Mudra Craft Stamp- Brushed Alphas
Kaisercraft Stamp- Music
Ranger's Archival Inkpad- Jet black
Piano Washi Tape
Tombow Mono Multi Glue
Homemade Tatting Lace
Fine Point Sharpie Pen- Black

Here are some closeup photos of the layout:

Here is a photo of the full layout:
