I'm sharing a Mixed Media Layout titled Mindfulness today. This was made as part of a Guest Design Post over on the Craftreat Blog using their beautiful stencils. You can check out all the projects and details here.
Wanted it to be about one's spiritual journey, meditation and finding one's inner self. Basically used acrylic paints to create the stencil designs and then did watercoloring for the background. Added gauze, sequins and mini beads for texture. Stamped the sentiments with archival ink. Finished off with some white splatter.
List of Supplies:
Craftreat Stencils- Buddha, Lotus Mandala, Mandala
Stamplorations Stamp- Noteworthy 2 Shery Russ Designs, True North
Prima's soft matte gel and heavy white gesso
Ranger's Archival Inkpad- Jet black
Acrylic Paints
